Program Overview

Waypoint Wabash is a transitional living house for women recovering from substance use disorder. Waypoint will provide women a safe, structured and stable environment to continue their recovery while rebuilding their lives.

Women can apply to house directly on our website. If accepted, it is expected that women will stay in the house a minimum of 6 months and up to 12-18 months. While living in the house, women will be expected to gain employment, pay program fees, maintain all therapy and court appointments, attend support groups and house meetings, complete house chores and abide by the house rules. Up to 12 women can live in the house at any time, in addition to the house manager.

House Information

The Waypoint house, located at 189 N. Wabash Street was built around 1875. It was built as a single family dwelling and has been used as a single family home, duplex and rental property over the years. The house was purchased by Indiana Landmarks in 2020 and renovations began in 2021. Indiana Landmarks donated the house to Waypoint Wabash in early 2022.
